Hi all.
Is there support for the new Suunto Nautic to be added to the Android app? I've just got a Nautic (my eyes are not that good anymore) and I'd like to be able to sync it with the app, just like I can do with my old D5. I'm heading to Nusa Penida in June and would like to just take the Nautic. However, at the moment it looks like I'll be taking the D5 as well so I can sync the data.

Hi
You can download with the Suunto Android app and then export the data as JSON file directly into my Android App as target.
Kind regards,
Sven

Hello Sven, thanks very much for the quick reply. Just to confirm, you export from the Suunto Android app as a JSON file, then import that into Divelog Android app. I'll give that a go and see how it goes. I ended up deleting the Suunto app as it stopped me connecting my D5 via Bluetooth.
Re: Support for the new Suunto Nautic in Android app
When you export to JSON, you can select my Android app as target. So the file is transfered directly to my app. In order to download your D5 or any other computer, you can disable the background activity of the Suunto app. This allows my app to connect to other Suunto computers:
Re: Support for the new Suunto Nautic in Android app
When exporting from the Suunto app, I don't get an option to open the JSON file in Divelog, it just saves it to my phone. When I look at the file and try to open it, Divelog is not a choice to open the file. If I try to import it via Divelog, I get errors. Your instructions don't seem to be the same for me. Perhaps the Suunto app I have is newer?

Just to add, I don't have an option to export to JSON in the Suunto app, just to download the file.

Normally my app should show up in the Suunto app as target for the file. But you can also manually pick it from your phone with the "Import" option from the main app screen (either press the + button or the 3 dot menu):
