Two pages in logbook report

Post by thetib »

Hello.
I would like my log book report to contain two pages, one front and one back. How to add a second page in designer?

Or perhaps someone can forward me a .crd file that contains two pages so that I can use it as a template. Thanks in advance Tib

Here is the front of my report for now :

Hello

Two pages are not easy to do using a single report. You would have to add all elements to the same design surface onto different layers and add a visibility filter dependent on the page number for each layer. It is easier to design two separate layout file for each page.

This report is using a two page mirrored layout if you want to check, but this it is the same layout on both pages:

tks for your answer

ok I see, in this crd file the pages are mirrored, but each page corresponds to a dive.
it is therefore not possible to have 2 information pages (front and back) for a single dive ?

I think it is theoretically possible, but I never tried it. You can enable the property "Pagebreak Before" for the first element that should be printed on the back. Every element in the project tree that comes after this element will be printed on the next page. So you have to design both pages on the same surface layout, then activate the property for the first element for the back. I think it will get a bit messy in the designer if everything is on top of each other, but you can add both pages to different layers.

Ho !!!
Ok I will try this weekend.
Thanks for the tip.
Indeed to epilate everything on top of each other it could be a mess
I'll keep you informed

My project as you will understand is to make a detailed dive log. Each A4 page will correspond to a dive with a maximum of information on both sides

it work !!!! great

Here I was able to make my logbook report on 2 pages (recto verso) :

I wanted to integrate the tissueN2 desaturation curve
but I can't find it in the variables

otherwise just to report there are display issue for the reports :
- export: there are yellow lines that appear on the pdf !!
- print on paper : there are yellow lines that appear on the pdf too !
- when I use to print in pdf (with pdf windows) it works

illustration of the issue :

one last problem
with this system of "pagebrek befor"
if I want to print several dives at the same time it only prints the front of the first dive and then only the backs of the following ones

illustration of the issue (I ask for a preview of the dive 101 to 103) :

it is not very serious just print them one by one

thank you "divinglog" for your precious help

Unfortunately this data is calculated and is not stored in the logbook, so it is not available for printing right now.

Yes, I'm aware of this graphic issue when exporting to PDF. These yellow lines are also actually drawn in the normal profile display, but they are overlapped with other lines like the profile frame line. I will check how this can be avoided, thank you for the reminder!
