Mares Quad Air BlueLink Pro

Post by Jonathan06 »

Hello all,
Do you know if this software works with Mares quad Air in BT with the BlueLink Pro module?
At home it does not work!
The computer is detected, it shows me first "Download dives" then "DC_STATUS_TIMEOUT".
Can you help me? thanks in advance.

Hi Jonathan

Yes, there are some isses with Mares Bluelink. For some users it works without problems, some report similar issues. You can contact Jef Driesen from libdivecomputer, he may have a test version for you which you can try to see if it works:

http://www.libdivecomputer.org

jef (at) libdivecomputer.org

I'm right now on the way to the plane for a dive trip, so I may not be able to follow up with this until Christmas.

Kind regards,
Sven

I have also the problem with the connection via BLE for the Marves Quad Air.

Is there a fix now and I do something wrong or should I contact Jef from libdivecomputer.

Please download this file and copy it into the Diving Log 6.0 program folder. Activate "Log Errors" in the downloader settings and try to download via BLE. Let me know if it works and send me this file afterwards:

Code: Select all

C:\Users\Your Name\AppData\Roaming\Diving Log\DC_FAMILY_MARES_ICONHD.txt

Now I have a other problem. I have a second diving computer. The download of the Mares Smart Air breaks always down before he load all divings (17 completely). He load down between 1 and 9 divings. Please see the last log file for the download. Sorry that it is not running smoothly.

Looks like a simple read timeout, maybe the battery is too low?
