Optima CM Chest Mount Reberather Dil/Bailout

Hi,
I am recently diving an Optima CM (aka "Choptima") chest mount rebreather, which attaches to a complete Open Circuit scuba system by an additional low pressure hose.

My question is about Tanks & Gas in Diving Log 6.

Because this rebreather is using your existing scuba tank as both Diluant AND Bailout, and if you bail out you are bailed out to the same cylinder, is there a way in Tanks & Gas to tag the back cylinder as both Diluant and Bailout? If I were to tag the back gas cylinder as CCR then there would be nothing identified as Bailout.

Hi

No sorry, you can only tag either CCR or Bailout. But it does not really matter in terms of SAC calculation etc. Just tag it as CCR and skip the bailout tank. If you really do a bailout, you can add manually a 2nd tank and add a switch to it in the profile.
